Written by George Orwell Reworked for stage by the company with direction from Leanne Jones and Emma Whitley

1984 is the story of Winston Smith, an unsettled and rebellious member of a dystopian society ruled by Big Brother. He spends his evenings dreaming of days gone by, a time when freedom was the freedom to say that 2+2 makes 4 and when people were free to choose their own destiny. He is alone. His true thoughts contained within the few square inches inside his head. Will Winston’s inevitable search allow him to hold onto his truth? Will he renounce his individuality and love Big Brother?

With live music from local artists Ste & Vicky (The Mono LPs) and Thomas Thompson.
